I have been a professional editor and 
writer for more than 25 years. What should good writing accomplish? Here are some of the indispensable elements.

– You want your illustrations to sing.
– You want your arguments to be persuasive.
– You want your text to be clear, linear, accurate, true, and captivating.
– You want all your structural elements, macro and micro, to serve the message.

This is what I aim to provide every client. My work has included books, websites, magazines, newsletters, speeches, articles, direct mail, brochures, congressional testimony, curricula, product packaging, procedural manuals, marketing materials, and more. 

I have written and edited for one U.S. President, two U.S. Attorneys General, major corporations, small businesses, international non-profit organizations, leading associations, prominent evangelicals, and government officials who went on to become State Governors and, in one case, the head of Interpol. I have a broad range of interests and can work in many writing styles and voices. In the past few years I have worked on books for half a dozen publishers.

This website focuses on my goal of expanding my work as a freelance editor, writer, consultant, and project manager. I have a particular interest in projects involving business, productivity, politics, culture, technology, new media, religion, or public policy. 

I also work a great deal on non-fiction books and other
materials:
– that are grounded in an essentially Reformed, comprehensively Christian perspective
– are targeted to a popular audience, and  
– address significant life topics without regard to whether these are seen as traditionally Christian topics.
